About Cranky Editor

Cranky Editor, an editorial services company, is staffed by Tamar Love, a full-time freelance writer and editor with eight years of professional experience. Tamar founded her company in 1999.

Tamar has worked with a variety of clients, from high-powered corporate executives to new writers developing their first manuscripts. Tamar specializes in feature writing for the web, manuscript evaluation, website copy writing, writing press and marketing materials and resume editing. Prior to 1999, Tamar worked for a variety of Internet and traditional companies, for whom she researched, wrote and edited business correspondence, contracts, website copy, marketing materials, press releases and corporate collateral.

Tamar received her Bachelor of Arts (1997) and Master of Arts (2000), both in English/Creative Writing, from San Francisco State University.

Tamar, a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area for almost a decade, now resides in Burbank, California, with her husband, cats and dogs.
