Having clients who love my work is really I need to feel warm and fuzzy. The rest is all just icing ... thick, creamy, buttery icing.
In "Reading Ahead, New Writers Keep the Fictional Faith" published in The New Yorker (Oct. 5, 1995), Daphne Merkin compares me to Joan Didion. C'mon, who doesn't want to be compared to Joan Didion??? (see page 4)
Martin Perlich, Program Director at KCSN, interviewed Silent Voices editor-in-chief Peter Balaskas on November 9, 2009, on KCSN's Arts and Roots Forum. About four minutes into the interview, these lovely fellows say some very nice things about my story. Thanks, guys!

The parents at Family Education liked my book! Look at all these lovely excerpts...
Writer's Digest loves my website! Well, not as much they loved the site that actually won, but I made it into the top ten, so I'm not complaining. Too much.
